Here's a new edition of "Directors at the Box Office", which seeks to explore the directors' trajectory at the box office and analyze their hits and bombs. I already talked about a few, and as I promised, it's Robert Rodriguez's turn.
He began his interest in film at age eleven, when his father bought one of the first VCRs, which came with a camera. He worked as a videographer of school football games, but was fired soon afterward as he had shot footage in a cinematic style, getting shots of parents' reactions and the ball traveling through the air instead of shooting the whole play. With a VCR, he started making short films and he would eventually move on to making films.
From a box office perspective, how reliable is he to deliver a box office hit?
That's the point of this post. To analyze his career.

El Mariachi (1992)

"With a guitar in his hand and a price on his head, he wasn't looking for trouble. But trouble came looking for him."
His directorial debut. The first part of the Mexico Trilogy, it stars Carlos Gallardo as the title character, a traveling mariachi mistaken for a murderous criminal and must hide from a gang bent on killing him.
Wanting to move towards films, Rodriguez collaborated with his friend Carlos Gallardo in the film. In the DVD commentary, Rodriguez opened up a little more about the low budget:

To save costs, he used 16 mm film and was shot in just 14 days.
The budget was just $7,000, almost half of which Rodriguez raised by participating in experimental clinical drug testing while living in Austin, Texas.
Rodriguez makes it clear that "if you start to spend, you cannot stop anymore." This is why he cut costs at every possible opportunity.
He did not use a slate; the actors, instead, signaled the number of scene and number of take with their fingers.
He did not use a dolly, and instead held the camera while being pushed around in a wheelchair.
He did not use synchronised sound; rather, he shot the film silent, then recorded on-set audio so it could be synced in post-production.
No film crew was hired; actors not in the scenes helped out instead.
Rodriguez believed in filming scenes sequentially in one long take with a single camera; every few seconds, he froze the action, so he could change the camera angle and make it appear that he used multiple cameras simultaneously.
Bloopers were kept in to save film: Rodriguez is visible on a bus with the Mariachi; the Mariachi bumps his weapon into a street pole; he fails to throw his guitar case on a balcony; and Dominó twitches her face when she is already dead.
Rodriguez spared expense by shooting on 16 mm film as opposed to 35 mm, and transferred the film to video for editing, avoiding the costs of cutting on film. In the end, he used only 24 rolls of film.

The film was bought by Columbia Pictures after Mexican home-video market companies rejected the film. Considering its incredibly low budget, it was a big hit, earning over $2 million. It was recognized by Guinness World Records as the lowest-budgeted film ever to gross $1 million at the box office. Reception was very positive, and Rodriguez was slowly becoming a well-known name.

Below is my current list of movies... scary movies involving Christmas. I consider 'Nightmare Before Christmas' the first Creepmas movie, though there are much older ones (Black Christmas 1974 for example). For that matter, 'A Christmas Carol' could be the first, ghosts at Christmas, what more can you want? Was Charles Dickens the first Creep?
I haven't seen most of these movies, can't even find a lot of them. I included IMDB ratings but keep in mind, a movie may have a high rating but only 3 votes, most likely family of the filmmaker, so buyer beware. If you watch any of these movies, let us know if they are any good.

Actualmente tengo 26 áños falta un mes para cumplir 27 anos ,nunca he tenido novia , pero tenido mucho sexo con prostitutas no se si este bien o mal(soy un promiscuo la verdad me encata el sexo), soy ingeniero civil y también tengo una maestría en finanzas, por naturaleza soy muy melancólico me tiendo a salir a caminar solo o encerrarme en mi cuarto ya sea para ver videos de la computadora o dormir hay días que siento que se repiten y me agobian , siento que quiero todo y rápido y me frustro si no salen las cosas como quiero , estaba saliendo con una chica que me uso y a la semana siguiente se fue con otro , económicamente vivo bien no es que sea rico pero tengo un fideicomiso que me dejó mi papá y además lo de mi mama la cuál ya hizo su testamento , siento que apesar de tener cosas materiales me sie to perdido me siento como Bill Murray en la película de lost in translation , me doy cuenta de la naturaleza humana de que adentro del ser humano existe el ego y el amor , que a veces nos hacen daño las persona que amamos y aveces también lastimamos a los que amamos conciente e iconcientemente , ya he ido a terapia y he buscado dios y si me ha servido a cierto nivel pero tambien siento que yo tengo la mayor responsabilidad de forjar mi destino pero a veces la ansiedad social y sentirse que se me va el tiempo me agobian ¿No se a donde voy ?¿Quisiera volver a ser feliz o no ser feliz siemplemente en no pensar en los errores que he cometido , las decepciones amorosas , familiares y en la incertidumbre del futuro? Que me recomiendan a hacer , por cierto tengo el hábito de ejercitarme y comer bien pero aún así ,siento que me falta algo más.

Bueno para empezar tengo 16 años y mi pareja tiene la misma edad y mi familia no quiere que estemos juntos por problemas que hemos tenido y no supimos como resolverlos correctamente, nuestra historia empezó muy bonita nos conocimos en la secundaria e hicimos click en un momento nos volvimos novios el se presento con mis padres para hacerle saber que éramos una pareja formalmente ellos aceptaron con gusto par ese entonces teníamos 14 años casi 15, en una cita una cosa llevo a la otra y tuvimos relaciónes con protección nos cuidamos y el me cuido porque era nuestra primera vez estuvo mandándome mensajes de watsapp para saber como me sentía, paso unos 4 meses y yo no me armaba de valor para comentarle a mis padres sobre esto tuve varios problema con mi pareja sobre amigos, salidas y sobre tomar alcohol por influencia de amigos que estuvo mal y lo se. Me deprimía mucho cuando nos peleábamos porque en cierta parte era mi culpa las peleas, mis papás notaron esto y revisaron mi celular para ver que pasaba y descubrieron que ya no era virgen, me regañaron en cierta forma porque se portaron muy comprensibles son papas jóvenes así que supongo que lo entendieron pero lo que más les dolió es que no les tuve la confianza, hablaron con él y acordamos en ya no hacerlo porque estamos muy chicos.
Después de un tiempo no lo volvimos hacer entramos a la preparatoria y las hormonas se alocaron y lo volvimos hacer no supieron fueron 5 veces que lo volvimos a hacer, para año nuevo fue a mi casa a darles el abrazo del año nuevo y quedaron entre mis padres y el que me trataría como una dama o una princesa el acepto y se despidió porque le dieron poquito tiempo, anteriormente nos peleamos porque yo debía ir a pasar navidad con su familia porwue el siempre venia a verme.
Paso un tiempo después de esto nos tratamos super bien depsue s de ese momento pero con algunas palabras pervetidas por chat ya estábamos en 2 de preparatoria yo soy gimnasta de alto rendimiento y el tiempo es algo que no tengo mucho y anteriormente estaba en la tarde peor me cambiaron de turno y eso significaba ya no vernos y volver a hacer amigos el se enojo por que haría amigos y le pondría menos atención cosa que no hubiera echo y me hubiera distribuido mi tiempo mejor, cambie de turno y tenia que ponerme al corriente y tuve que pedir tareas a compañeros varones porque no se me facilita hacer amistades con niñas se enojo y tuvimos una gran pelea antes de irme a una competencia importante que debía estar muy concentrada, mis papás vieron esto me quitaron el celular para que no me lesionar a en la competencia le deje de hablar por una semana y me dijo que debíamos de terminar la relación solo por la tarea que pedí me deprimí y después a la semana me vino a buscar diciendo que se puso malo y estaba mal de salud lo acepte y regresamos pero también se acercaba otra competencia y volví a pedir tareas porque soy muy olvidadiza y de nuevo paso y aun peor que me dijo cosas que jamás pensé que me diría y mis papás vieron esto y actuaron me obligaron a terminar mi relación con el bueno de echo ni la termine yo la temino mi mamá agarrando mi celular y hablando con el que ya se le había terminado su "perra" porque decían que me trataba como a una prostituta por los comentarios hormonales de echo querían ponerle una orden de restricción y alejamiento pero no procedió, yo segui con mi vida porwue no tenía tiempo de deprimirme por la competencia que venía pasaron las 2 peores semanas de mi vida nunca lo había pasado tan mal llevábamos 1 año y 4 meses juntos y si dolía por tantas experiencias que teníamos.
Cúando paso esto yo me sentaba en una reja en la que nos veíamos para esto el estaba bloqueado por todos lados y no pudo contactarme hasta que el vino a mi escuela y me mando mensajes por otro número pero mis papás tenían conectado mi watsapp en sus celulares y vieron el mensaje ya borrado, ami me dio mucha felicidad verlo llore porque lo extrañaba muchísimo, me abrazo y beso y me dijo que el lucharía por mi que no se rendiría, nos pusimos de acuerdo en vernos y hablar por medio de un juego para evitar sospechas después me compro un celular para hablar y sin enterarse mis padres hemos echo esto por 2 meses casi 3 y no se han enterado pero a mi me gustaría que esta relación siguiera a más tenemos planes de irnos del país una vez que nos graduemos y tener una relación bonita de pareja a familia, que tuviéramos citas y me llevara a todos lados pero no se si decirles a mis papás porque están muy tensos en este tema ya estan sospechando que tenga una relación con alguien, el celular y regalos que me a dado pero no se si deba decirles que sigo con el o el clmo reaccionaran tengo una hermana menos tiene 6 meses de edad y quiero que me vea presente y que me quiera pero no se que hacer.

Hola buenas a todos! Bueno vengo a comentar un problema que ando teniendo desde hace ya no se cuanto tiempo, que es con el tema de bajon de FPS y stuttering mientras juego. Me sucede en juegos como Elden Ring, Spiderman Remastered, Resident Evil 4 Remake.
La verdad que no estoy seguro de cuál puede ser el causante del problema, tengo todo el hardware bien conectado, reinstale los drivers de AMD tanto de la gpu como del chipset unas 3 veces y sigue sucediendo igual, ya llego un punto en el que no se si tengo que cambiar componentes de la PC o que para que deje de pasar.
Si es necesario puedo adjuntar un video, pero para que se den una idea es como que apretes en cargar partida y cuando entra el juego hay un bajon de FPS (como si se congelará la pantalla) durante unos 5 segundos, que va y viene. Despues de eso se estabiliza un poco pero despues pasa que cada puta vez que pasa algo en la pantalla, como que un jefe te tira una bola de fuego o un efecto algo así, los FPS bajan considerablemente generando que la experiencia de juego sea molesta. He probado con los juegos en Ultra, Alto, Medio e inclusive Bajo y pasa lo mismo en todas las calidades.
Dato de no se cuanta importancia: juego con un monitor de 60hz y he probado con V-sync tanto activado como desactivado, con y sin limite de fps, y sigue sucediendo.

Sam: aparentemente George tinha decidido que Sam não teria capítulos em Festim?
Jaime: Blackfish é a única anotação, então nada de diferente. Reparem que nem aqui nem na seção de Brienne, Martin citou Lady Stoneheart.
Prólogo: Confirma 100%, se é que ainda havia duvidas, que os Homem sem Rostos querem o livro "Sangue e Fogo", com o intuito de matar os dragões.
Brienne: luta com o que suponho ser o Fake Cão. Alguns usuários no ASOIAF estão se questionando se talvez Brienne iria enfrentar o verdadeiro Cão de Caça nessa versão original, que nem aconteceu na série de TV. Eu diria que não é 100% impossível, mas improvável.
Davos: esse parece ser de longe o mais drasticamente diferente em relação à versão final. Quando George disponibilizou o primeiro capítulo de Theon/Fedor anos antes da publicação de "Dança dos Dragões", os personagens citavam Barrowtown como o lugar onde ocorreria o casamento de Ramsay. Não há referência alguma dos Manderly ou Rickon. Será que Davos é quem originalmente seria enviado com a missão de salvar a falsa Arya Stark que na verdade é Jeyne Poole (se for o caso, fomos privado de interações entre Davos e Theon)? Ou Davos seria enviado para Braavos para negociar com o Banco de Ferro, encontraria a verdadeira Arya e levaria ela de volta para Westeros? Acho essa segunda opção mais improvável... Sintam-se a vontade para teorizar.
Jon: no final das contas, Jon vai mesmo para Hardhome (Durolar) que nem ocorreu na série (supondo que George ainda não tenha desistido da ideia). Porém, o outline menciona que é ali que terminaria o seu arco ao invés de ser traído e morto pelos Patrulheiros. É possível que a traição ocorreria em Hardhome.

Os Greyjoys não são mencionados porque os capítulos deles já tinham sido escritos e disponibilizados numa novella. Theon estava sendo planejado para retornar no livro seguinte, "The Winds of Winter". George ainda não tinha decidido tornar Quentyn, Connington e Barristan personagens POV. Por algum motivo desconhecido, não há qualquer menção à Bran.

5.LAS IMPLICACIONES DE LA ADSCRIPCIÓN DE GÉNERO DE LAS MUJERES
A partir de esta visión sintética de algunas características del movimiento feminista. paso a tratar en las siguientes líneas alguno de los dilemas a los que en la actualidad se enfrenta. Hay que considerar que emergen como producto de varios factores: de los cambios que la lucha feminista propicia en las mujeres por el acceso a nuevos derechos, en su subjetividad, en la distinta forma de percibirse a sí mismas y por lo tanto de situarse ante la vida; de cambios genera les de las estructuras sociales; finalmente también por la acumulación de experiencias y maduración del movimiento. El resultado es la aparición de nuevos retos ante una realidad de las mujeres que es y/o se percibe más compleja, y que urge revisar y readecuar estrategias, discursos y propuestas.
Uno de los aspectos que resultan conflictivos es la distinta interpretación de lo que supone para las mujeres su adscripción de género. Comenzaré haciendo una breve referencia a algunos argumentos que se sitúan en los extremos de un amplio abanico de posiciones (de los que existe abundante literatura) presentes en polémicas y propuestas feministas actuales (Alcoff, 2002).
Por un lado desde posiciones que derivan del “feminismo cultural” (corriente que surge en EEUU en la década de los 80, siendo Katheleen Bary y Adrianne Rich algunas de sus autoras más conocidas) se establece la existencia de una naturaleza femenina definida bien por la condición biológica y su proximidad a la naturaleza al ser generadoras de vida, bien por su sexualidad, o por diferenciaciones culturales fuertemente interiorizadas. Independientemente de estas diferencias en su definición, se la considera provista de valores femeninos como la ternura, entrega, paciencia y espíritu pacífico, asociados a su función maternal, a una sexualidad diferenciada, o a su capacidad relacional. Es la represión de estos valores por la cultura masculina, es decir la negación de su naturaleza, lo que origina la opresión. El objetivo del movimiento es desarrollar esa cultura femenina frente a la masculinidad que se sitúa como el verdadero problema. Mujeres y hombres constituyen de este modo dos colectivos con intereses opuestos e identidades homogéneas que, en algunas versiones se consideran innatas y en otras adquiridas, pero en ambos casos se definen como identidades homogéneas y estables. El género es lo determinante para todas las mujeres, y a partir de las características generalizables que establece se presupone la existencia de uniformidad en sus experiencias (al igual que entre los hombres) lo que permite hablar de unidad natural entra las mismas. Sobre ésta debe basar el feminismo su estrategia pues las diferencias entre las mujeres, aun reconociéndolas, no se consideran relevantes para la propuesta feminista al debilitar esa unidad que el género establece.
La consideración de una naturaleza femenina y los valores a ella asociados, así como la consiguiente política de revalorización de la diferencia como lo propio de las mujeres, son planteamientos compartidos por el llamado “feminismo de la diferencia”, que surge en Italia y Francia, siendo Luisa Murazo, Luce Irigaray, Milagros Rivera algunas de sus autoras. Esta corriente, que aparece en confrontación con el feminismo de la igualdad, si señala como significtivas las diferencias entre las mujeres pero las sitúan en el mundo femenino que define su existencia diferente al de los hombres y en el que debe circunscribirse la actuación del feminismo.
La polémica con estas posiciones se ha producido tanto en el campo de la teoría como en el de la práctica del movimiento. Situar como objetivo político revalorizar “lo femenino”, entendido como lo que hacen y representan las mujeres, tiene sin duda un efecto positivo al dar fuerza a las propias mujeres al verse así reconocidas. El problema es convertirlo en el centro de la política feminista, pues reivindicarlo sin someterlo a crítica, es decir tal y como hoy se manifiesta, es aceptar lo adjudicado por la cultura patriarcal y que tan útil resulta para justificar situaciones de opresión; por otro lado, a mi modo de ver, dificulta la posibilidad de alterar su significado dominante, porque la utilidad de las argumentaciones depende no sólo del valor que tengan en sí, sino del contexto discursivo en que se formulen. En momentos se requiere poner en primer plano la revalorización, por ejemplo, del trabajo de cuidados para darle visibilidad y reconocimiento social, pero en otros puede servir de excusa para, asociándolo a las supuestas cualidades femeninas, asignar la obligatoriedad social de cuidar a los demás, lo que en la historia de las mujeres ha estado asociado a sumisión, dependencia y límites a su libertad.
Por otro lado, mantener que las diferencias entre mujeres y hombres son innatas, deriva en cierto esencialismo que, aparte de otras consideraciones, plantea la imposibilidad de cambio en los propios hombres. Pero además contemplar la pertenencia al género femenino como lo único realmente significante para las mujeres, es decir dar por buena la exclusiva identificación de las mujeres como miembros de un grupo social definido por su pertenencia de género, lleva a un tratamiento abstracto de las mujeres que dificulta la comprensión de su diversidad y de sus cambios. Prescinde del hecho de que las identidades individuales de las mujeres no están determinadas sólo por su pertenencia al género sino también por otras adscripciones sociales: de clase, raza, sexuales, etc. que interactúan con él, y generan necesidades, prácticas e identidades sociales mucho más complejas. Nadie es sólo mujer. Además, puede llevar a posiciones normativizadoras puesto que, de hecho, formula una propuesta de lo que debe ser la mujer en función de la naturaleza que la define, sea esta de origen biológico, sexual o cultural.
A la reflexión sobre todo ello ha contribuido extraordinariamente la aguda crítica formulada al movimiento por las feministas negras y las feministas lesbianas, calificándolo de excluyente por reflejar sólo la realidad de una parte de las mujeres: las blancas y heterosexuales, y no incorporar sus particulares perspectivas y necesidades.
En el otro extremo se sitúan las posturas que, influidas por el post-estructuralimo francés (Lacan, Julia Kristeva, entre otros) y por la revisión que introduce el post-modernismo, buscan precisamente lo contrario: restar relevancia a lo que el establecimiento del sistema de géneros representa, minimizar su significado y por tanto relativizar las categorías mujer y hombre al considerar que cualquier categoría identitaria es normativa y excluyente. Así, aún reconociendo las diferencias que la asignación de géneros establece entre mujeres y hombres, consideran que el objetivo del feminismo es quitarles valor político y partir del valor de las experiencias singulares de cada mujer, dando un tratamiento más complejo a la subjetividad. Abogan por tanto por identidades contingentes que no permitan establecer una definición de lo que es la mujer ni por tanto, hablar en su nombre.
Estos planteamientos han tenido un efecto positivo pues ayudan a formular una crítica a cualquier veleidad esencialista y, por tanto, a las políticas normativizadoras que de ellas se derivan: así como a situar la centralidad que para el feminismo debe tener el acercamiento a la construcción de la subjetividad. Pero también implican problemas de fondo. Privar, como se hace, al análisis sobre la situación de las mujeres de la perspectiva de género significa prescindir de analizar y actuar sobre el conflicto que representan las prácticas sociales de subordinación y discriminación que, pese a los cambios logrados, persisten en nuestra realidad, así como de los elementos de identificación que establece, por contingentes que sean. Al obviar cualquier otra categorización social y considerar determinante la experiencia de cada mujer, introduce cierto relativismo y una visión acrítica sobre las ideas y procesos sociales que subyacen a dichas prácticas. No me refiero con ello a la práctica que muchas mujeres inician ajena a cualquier consideración feminista, pero que deriva en experiencias de defensa de espacios de libertad; sino a las que se enfrentan a la autonomía de las mujeres y afianzan la subordinación, o fundamentan relaciones de poder entre las propias mujeres, aspectos que, en distintas versiones, desarrolla el movimiento femenino de derechas.
Desde un punto de vista político, no todo es igualmente relevante para el proyecto feminista, pues la especificad de la experiencia de una mujer no garantiza su valor político so pena de caer en lo que las feministas mexicanas llaman “el mujerismo”. Cuestionar, someter a crítica experiencias, intereses y procesos sociales que subyacen en dichas prácticas resulta fundamental para formular un discurso crítico y propuestas de cambio.
Por otro lado, si no es posible ninguna consideración de las mujeres como colectivo, y se prescinde de la discriminación sexista, dejan de resultar pertinentes las reivindicaciones específicas e incluso el propio movimiento y la propuesta resulta paralizante para la acción feminista, dificulta la crítica social y la conceptualización de la opresión como un proceso estructurado (Young, 2000).
6. PROTECCIONISMO/AUTONOMÍA SEXUAL
La disyuntiva que plantan estas posiciones se refleja, con sus particularidades, en un campo tan relevante para la teoría y práctica feminista, como es el de la sexualidad, al ser un elemento central en la identidad de mujeres y hombres. Por un lado se establece una oposición entre la sexualidad masculina: agresiva, violenta y genital, y la femenina que por el contrario se describe como suave, sensual y no genital. La violencia sexual estaría pues intrínsecamente unida a la naturaleza violenta del varón, por lo que combatirla se convierte en el eje de la política sexual del movimiento.
En el otro extremo están las posiciones que se limitan a reconocer y dar por válidas las distintas prácticas sexuale, haciendo del placer el único eje de intervención feminista y por tanto dejando de lado las relaciones de poder a las que la sexualidad no escapa.
Diversas autoras (Vance, 1989) han llamado la atención sobre algunos problemas que plantean estas posiciones. Por un lado sobre la tentación de establecer un nuevo modelo sexual, necesariamente normativo, al definir a partir de generalizar una parte de la conducta sexual de algunas mujeres cómo deben ser sexualmente todas ellas, y por tanto negando sus distintas manifestaciones de deseo, fantasías y experiencias sexuales. Y por otro lado, el obviar que la sexualidad, aun presentando cierta autonomía respecto al género, es una construcción social y por tanto susceptible de modificación.
Una política que sólo se centra en el peligro, la violencia sexual, lo hace aparecer tan determinante que excluye cualquier otra posibilidad de actuación que no sea la protección frente al deseo masculino, y deja de lado el discurso del placer, de la autonomía sexual de las mujeres. Pero enfatizar sólo el placer y prescindir del peligro supone ignorar las relaciones de poder en las que se inscribe la sexualidad y el modelo sexual dominante. Al feminismo no le queda otra que transcurrir entre la tensión del placer y el peligro, y aunar la lucha contra todas las expresiones de violencia sexual junto con la defensa del placer, la autonomía y libertad sexual de las mujeres.
7. LAS DIVERSAS IDENTIDADES DE LAS MUJERES
La reflexión y reorientación práctica que suscita asumir la diversidad parte de considerar, en primer lugar, que el sexismo se manifiesta en distintas realidades culturales, económicas y sociales por las que discurre la vida de las mujeres: es decir que, aunque la subordinación de género es común, no son necesariamente idénticas las formas en que se concreta, como tampoco lo son los procesos que tiene que levantar el feminismo en cada lugar del mundo para enfrentarse a ellas. Requiere por tanto un feminismo situado histórica y culturalmente.
En segundo lugar, la ubicación social en función del género tiene distintas implicaciones en la subjetividad de las mujeres. Indudablemente genera elementos comunes a partir de experiencias compartidas de exclusión y discriminación, por más variados que sean los ámbitos en los que se producen: la percepción que se tiene de las diferencias biológicas, sentimientos compartidos de injusticia, lo que representa la asignación de las tareas relacionales y la diferente forma de organizar la vida que implica, o la empatía que produce la búsqueda de espacios de libertad personal, cualesquiera que sean estos y las formas de hacerlo. Pero dicho esto, no se puede afirmar que todas tienen necesariamente las mismas experiencias: no todas las mujeres sufren agresiones, ni todas son madres, o heterosexuales, ni proceden del mismo país; los mismos problemas se pueden vivir de distinta forma, o en distintos momentos; y los sentimientos que una misma situación provoca pueden ser muy diversos, como lo son los recursos que tienen para enfrentarse a ella.
El género no define por tanto un modo de ser estable y universal pues la identidad de las mujeres es diversa y compleja en la medida que actúa en una pluralidad de contextos sociales. El feminismo por tanto se enfrenta al reto de acoger e interpretar la variedad de formas que adopta el ser mujer. Esos interés e identidad cambiantes de las mujeres también convierte en más compleja, y algo desestabilizador, la acción del movimiento.
Un ejemplo que puede resultar ilustrativo de los problemas que plantea articular en la práctica la diversidad lo encontramos en la dificultad de las leyes para atender realidades tan complejas. La ley integral contra la violencia de género hace de la denuncia de las mujeres el centro neurálgico de intervención, dejando por tanto fuera del acceso a los recursos sociales, laborales y económicos a quienes no optan por la vía judicial como camino de resolución del conflicto. Pese a que el número de denuncias ha ido en aumento sigue representando tan sólo el 5% de las mujeres que sufren malos tratos por parte de su pareja o expareja. Las mujeres no denuncian por muy distintas causas: por miedo a la reacción del agresor; porque no confían en la justicia al ver los prejuicios y la imprudencia con que actúan algunos jueces dejándolas en una situación de mayor riesgo por no adoptar en tiempo y forma las medidas cautelares necesarias; o bien porque no quieren judicializar su caso, quieren acabar con la violencia que viven, pero no que “el padre de sus hijos” acabe en la cárcel. La denuncia es fundamental en muchos procesos de violencia, pero no acoge a todas las mujeres, y al no contemplar la enorme complejidad de los itinerarios vitales de las mujeres, las deja fuera del amparo de las medidas públicas.
Otro tipo de problemas derivan de negar la diversidad. Es el caso del tratamiento de las demandas de las trabajadoras del sexo. Dejando a un lado el intenso debate que suscita, me remito a lo que ellas plantean, porque las prostitutas han tomado la voz y plantean cosas muy distintas. Se atiende a quienes desean dejar la prostitución y denuncian las mafias que las fuerzan mediante engaño y coacción a trabajar privadas de libertad y en condiciones prácticamente de esclavitud. Pero desde distintas Administraciones y sectores del feminismo se niega la voz, incluso su propia existencia, a quienes autodefiniéndose como trabajadoras del sexo afirman que la prostitución no siempre es producto de la coacción, que no lo es en su caso y quieren continuar trabajando como prostitutas. Sin dejar de cuestionar el modelo sexual heterosexista y la progresiva mercantilización de cada vez más aspectos de la vida, resulta evidente que no abordar la estigmatización social que recae sobre ellas y defender sus derechos es situarlas en los márgenes de una legalidad donde se produce mayor indefensión y abusos.
Y por último quisiera señalar un tercer tipo de problemas: la deriva discursiva y práctica de victimización permanentemente de las mujeres (que obviamente no significa dejar de actuar sobre situaciones de opresión y desigualdad). Me refiero al reiterado tratamiento de las mujeres como sujetos pasivos de la dominación masculina, necesitadas de permanente tutela y protección. Este enfoque muchas veces va en detrimento de su consideración como sujetos activos, capaces, incluso en situaciones tremendamente duras, de desarrollar habilidades para formular sus deseos y exigencias, en base a su capacidad ética para decidir sobre su vida. Este discurso que encuentra un particular rechazo entre las mujeres jóvenes.
8. JUSTICIA SOCIAL E IDENTIDAD CULTURAL
Establecer si las mujeres ganan más con políticas en las que la diferencia sexual se hace irrelevante o por el contrario en las que constituyen el fundamento de cualquier propuesta; reclamar medidas específicas, proteccionistas, formulando derechos específicos o medidas que partan de un trato igual a hombres y mujeres bajo el paraguas de los derechos generales no deja de ser una discusión pragmática. Las distintas argumentaciones y medidas pueden tener más o menos interés y eficacia para lograr cambios dependiendo de muchos factores: de la oportunidad del momento, dónde esté situado el debate de partida en la sociedad, la dinámica de lucha en la que se inscribe la reivindicación, y cómo se valora la situación de partida de las mujeres. En este sentido no se puede obviar que, tras más de treinta años de presencia activa del feminismo los cambios logrados en la sociedad y en las propias mujeres no han sido lineales y han generado distintos niveles de autonomía económica, sexual y social.
Visibilizar y dar valor al trabajo de cuidados que realizan las mujeres es de justicia, pero si esta afirmación no se inscribe en una dinámica de justicia social en la que se exija la redistribución de los recursos y la responsabilización de los hombres y los gobiernos, caería en corroborar la identificación del cuidado con lo femenino como si fuera algo inamovible. Su sentido no es afirmar la división del trabajo en función del sexo, sino al contrario tratar de desestructurarla.
En un momento dado puede ser viable la exigencia de medidas proteccionistas como son las de acción compensatoria o discriminación positiva en el ámbito laboral (dejo a un lado la discriminación positiva en la representación política pues incorpora elementos que lo hacen más complejo, como la representación de grupo en el terreno de las ideas). Se parte de una situación de desigualdad profunda y prolongada y se enfrentan a las resistencias de un empresariado anti-igualitrista y preconstitucional. A mi modo de ver se trata de medidas puntuales, evaluables y modificables en función de la eficacia y efectos producidos.
Sin embargo y acercándonos a otro tema de actualidad, la defensa de la custodia compartida, al igual que la exigencia de un permiso de paternidad propio por el nacimiento de un hijo o hija, se basa en el objetivo de lograr generalizar lo que hoy resulta una práctica minoritaria: que los hombres asuman la paternidad social, facilitando que la maternidad deje de ser un handicap en la vida de muchas mujeres, condicionando su desarrollo personal en otras facetas personales y laborales, sin por ello lesionar los derechos de las mujeres que por haberse dedicado al cuidado de hijos e hijas se encuentren sin recursos propios ante una separación y por tanto requieran medidas específicas.
Enfrentarse a estos dilemas es un estímulo y plantea nuevas tensiones al movimiento feminista a su práctica diaria, al enfoque de las reivindicaciones, y a su estrategia.
No dar por lógica y natural la unidad entre las mujeres no implica negar la existencia de elementos comunes, supone tratar de articular las diferenciar para ir trabando esa unidad y el diálogo entre las distintas experiencias y prácticas feministas y priorizaruna política de alianzas sobre las propuestas y reivindicaciones que se formulan desde las distintas organizaciones feministas.
Requiere también desarrollar políticas y discursos que integren el reconocimiento de cierta identidad cultural de las mujeres, la búsqueda de su reconocimiento social en tanto que tales junto con políticas de justicia social e igualdad que permitan romper lo que el género determina, enfrentarse a las desigualdades y discriminaciones que genera la cultura patriarcal, las estructuras sociales y económicas.
